Call To Action

In this so-called "free" country, oppression of people, most specifically women, still exists.  Religion, while often used to buttress this oppression, is no excuse.  Religion is no green curtain to hide behind, disguising a person as a low, booming voice and a screen of smoke.  This is a problem, and sooner or later, something will have to change.  There is no reason for this many people to be dehumanized by an institution they may or may not be a part of.  From the jailing of a Swedish woman being jailed after being raped by her coworker in Turkey to Female Genital Mutilation to forced dress codes, this religion-backed oppression needs to end now.
